jeanpierreaubry ...that’s a matter of perspective. As I mentioned, based on my experience with Ansys, I’ve always started with the simplest model and then refined the analysis.
However, I’m still curious about Code_Aster and how to extract results—this is a slight digression from my specific problem, though still related to it.
Yesterday, I ran a simple case: a single simply-supported L-angle (2" x 2" x 1/4") with a span of 1000 mm, subjected to a vertical load (FY) of -0.1 N/mm. It’s a textbook statics problem. I’ve attached an image showing how I defined the group for the structural supports. The expected results are support reactions of 50 N, a shear force of +50/-50 N (linear distribution), and a bending moment of 12,500 N·mm.

I performed the calculation for this structure in Code_Aster, but I haven't figured out how to extract those specific values yet. I used EFGE_ELNO, but I lack the expertise to judge whether that was the right choice. The result is shown below.

The DEPL field was consistent with what I calculated.
In this case, how would it be possible to obtain results consistent with the analytical calculation? It is worth noting that I multiplied the results obtained from EFGE_ELNO by 50.8 mm.
