using LIAISON_MAIL

Hi together,

I have problems using a small model with 3D/shell coupling. In the message file i have found the comment
"Un maillage constitué des noeuds distants a été imprimé au format MED. Le nom du fichier MED est REPE_OUT/maillage_proj_loin_00000001.med"
but this file is nowhere.  Do I need to prepare this issue?

Thanks in advance, Hansbau52

Re: using LIAISON_MAIL

Hello,

I had also a fight with this. The file is located within the temporary folder that is created to run the simulation. But this folder is deleted as soon as the simulation finishes and results are copied into your working folder. The workaround I've found was to copy the file during the simulation once available. You can specify the temporary folder where code-aster runs the simulation by editing the ".export file" and change/add the following lines.

P  proxy_dir  /tmp
P  rep_trav   /tmp/[temporary folder to run simulation]

I guess there might be proper ways to do this... probably some option in the export file to flag that the REP_OUT folder is also to be copied into the working folder... but could not find such option.

Hi there,

Try this in the export file:
R repe Path_to_a_dir/where_med_files_to_be_copied_after_run/ DR 0
