failed installation on WSL (Ubuntu 20.04)

I want to install CA in ubuntu 20.04 running under WSL

I installed all the prerequisites, but there's a problem with the MED library. The log file shows :

entering directory '/tmp/install_med.12556/med-4.0.0'
Command line : make -j 8
compiling med...                                                       
Command output :
compiling med...                                                       [FAILED]
Exit code : 2
make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found.  Stop.
EXIT_COMMAND_12556_00000060=2

and as a consequence when compiling Aster itself it shows that:

Filling cache...                                                       
   'LIBPATH_MED' not yet defined

 'LIBPATH_MUMPS' not yet defined
                                                                       [FAILED]
Exit code : 255
 *** Exception raised : unavailable variables
    Problem with : LIBPATH_MED, LIBPATH_MUMPS

any idea about what might be happening and how to overcome it?
