ANSYS or FEMAP to SALOME Meca

Hello,

I've read that it was possible to export FEMAP or ANSYS Geometry/Mesh to import them in SALOME Meca but I haven't found the info that shows how to do it...

My question is : Is it really possible ? If yes, how can I do it ? Is there any documentation on it ?

Regards

LB

Re: ANSYS or FEMAP to SALOME Meca

You can use meshio (github.com/nschloe/meshio) for conversion of the mesh from Ansys or Femap (export to Nastran, Ansys or Abaqus first) to med-format

Re: ANSYS or FEMAP to SALOME Meca

There is a module in salome_meca "MedConverter" to convert mesh from systus, abaqus or ansys to med format

Hello,
Do you know how to access to the MEDConverter Module? I can't find it.
Thank you,
