[Mesh] error while trying to mesh an object

I'm trying to create the mesh of an object but this error arises when I select the criteria to the meshing process:

 Salome Exception : /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/liblapack.so.3: undefined symbol: strtrs_UNU_parallel

Salome 2020.0 and Ubuntu 20.10.

Any hint? I guess it was due to the last ubuntu upgrade (20.04--> 20.10) but I'm not sure.

Probably. Ubuntu 20.10 broke my installation too.

Re: [Mesh] error while trying to mesh an object

I also have the same problem with SalomeMeca2020 and Ubuntu 20.10 (Groovy Gorilla).

I tried to make symbolic link from my system liblapack.so.3 to salomes prequistic folder, but it didn't help to the problem:
ln -sf /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/liblapack.so.3 home/username/salome_meca/V2020.0.1_universal_universal/prerequisites/Lapack-380/lib/liblapack.so.3

I'm not good at using Ubuntu so this was just a blind attempt.

Has anyone managed to solve this problem ?

Best regards,
VonPire

Re: [Mesh] error while trying to mesh an object

Hi everyone,

Got the same error using Salome-Meca 2020 on Ubuntu 21.04.
The same error message appear to me, as in the previous posts.
Simply cannot mesh my objects, even while following tutorials and doing things exactly as shown.

I really have no clue what this is about.
So, if someone has any hint on the issue, I would be glad to ear about it. big_smile

Thank you for your time.

Re: [Mesh] error while trying to mesh an object

I solved the problem with the syslink:

cd $INSTALLATION_PATH$/salome_meca/V2020.0.1_universal_universal/prerequisites/debianForSalome/lib
ln -s /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/lapack/liblapack.so.3 liblapack.so.3
