[SOLVED] Inequality constraint on nodes

Is it possible to assign a inequality constraint on a node :

DZ>=0 ?

without use contact definition ?

no it is not possible to use this type of constraint directly. You can maybe use discrete elements with dis_contact.

I tried to solve the problem with DEF_CONTACT (..LIAISON_UNIL ..) but in the resolution it seems it does not take it into account and behaves as if there was no contact.

It's a non-linear problem

Where do you use unilat ?

You must use STAT_NON_LINE and not MECA_STATIQUE

Yes it works. That's why he didn't see the contact. It needs to iterate to solve the inequality.
Now work in traction and compression.
