Hello,
This may sometimes happen with SALOME. Check that:
you're not using special characters or blanks in the path of the HDF study or the files used inside it;
you have enough free space left, notably in /tmp.

Hello alltogether,
I'm facing the same problems in salome-meca 2018 for windows. There's enough diskspaceand I also checked the permissions. Is there any quick workaround to be able saving files ?
I would highly appreciate any quick help, as I'm using it very often in Liinux system, but I have windows on my portable computer.
Thank you,
Jan

I have been facing the exactly same problem as Gerardo, using Windows 10 64bits:
Can not save file "/(...).hdf"
possible reasons:
-permission denied;
-unsufficient disk space;
-application error.
I noticed that this problem start happening when the simulation becomes bigger, requiring more disk space, however I have plenty of disk space!
Does anyone have a guess on how to solve this?
Thanks

Hello,
the problem is well known and explained in the post "Salome-Meca 2019 for Windows" in the site of Code_Aster for Windows. You must remove the "read only" flag of the files before saving them.
It is a Salome issue:

The post on "Code Aster for Windows" website seems to cover a different kind of error...
Anyway, I tried to uncheck the "read only" flag from the file, but the error persists

Have you unchecked the "read only" flag both on the hdf file and the _Files Folder and its contents?
