Code Aster crash in Ubuntu 14.04.

I made a really simple mechanic model to test the new Salome-meca and I get this error in my .mess file,  right after printing my .comm file in it.

any ideas?  I am getting very frustrated.

We don't know the version you are using, binary install, build from source, log...

Sorry, I installed the Binary compilation, of Salome-Meca 2014.1 Universal 64 Bits  and checked the md5 to make shure there were no corrupt files in the download process.

I am running it on an Ubuntu 14.04 Computer with enough ram

Hi,

Sorry, I installed the Binary compilation, of Salome-Meca 2014.1 Universal 64 Bits  and checked the md5 to make shure there were no corrupt files in the download process.

You should provide more information about this crash e.g. the files leading to this error. Even better, you may try to narrow the problem by following the instructions here.
