Hello,
Curiously, I am finding that there are no files named forma01* in the latest updated NEW11.0 installation (updated to it today). I discovered that "/opt/aster/bin/as_run forma01a.export" (a standard test to run on a fresh install, prior to the numerous test cases) failed because these files are missing. What's up? I do see many other forma* files though available in the same .../astest/ sub-directory. Was this specific case removed for some reason or is it due to my attempts at compiling a NEW11.0_mpi going completely awry?

Hi,
The FORMA* test cases stands for FORMAtion which means "Training" or "Teaching" in french. These are used in our training sessions. Since we are renewing the material for these sessions, we're also making some changes to the naming and the contents of these tests.
FORMA01 is being rewritten and will be back in a few weeks, maybe even next week.

Hello TdS,
Thanks for the quick reply! I feel better now, since I was thinking I was perhaps messing up the whole MPI compilation process badly ...
Regards, JMB
PS: Now that I read the TXT file accompanying the latest or one prior I see the description of the changes to the forma* files. Although Google does a fair job of translating these text files, is there any chance of the team processing these TXT files through your automatic FR-En translation too, please? I believe the CodeAster translation will be better than that of Google...
