I'm trying to create the mesh of an object but this error arises when I select the criteria to the meshing process:

Salome Exception : /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/liblapack.so.3: undefined symbol: strtrs_UNU_parallel

-----------------------------------------------------
use Salome 2020.0.1 and Ubuntu 22.04

I tried

cd $INSTALLATION_PATH$/salome_meca/V2020.0.1_universal_universal/prerequisites/debianForSalome/lib
ln -s /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/lapack/liblapack.so.3 liblapack.so.3

Re: [Mesh]error while trying to mesh an object

Hi Chihen,

this is probably not the answer you are hoping for, but the Salome_Meca V2020 is fairly old and it is no longer being maintained. I would strongly recommend that you use the newer V 2022 version. Hopefully your issue will just go away.

Best regards,
Fer

Re: [Mesh]error while trying to mesh an object

Hi Chihen,
I had lots of different problems running SM 2020 under 22.04. I moved to 20.04 LTS and none arouse so far. Have a try, 20.04 will be supported for two more years.

regards,
Krzysztof
