Print by screen[SOLVED]

Good afternoon from Argentina Code Aster community, today I bring a concern about how to do to see on screen the value of some data, specifically the values of internal variables, for example in the case of the irradiation law of code aster IRRAD3M has 7 internal variables, how do I do to find the value of these variables? can be printed on screen?
I would be very grateful if you could help me

Hi Fabrizio,

I suppose you mean the constitutive law present in u4.43.01.

Solvers support an option to generate observations, literally "OBSERVATION" keyword, see u4.51.03. It can print functions and variables. So I suppose that if you define the inputs for IRRAD3M as functions/lists, you should be able to print those values within the solver. Notice that you may need to create auxiliary tables or fields.

Hi Fer,
I will try with the solution you propose, for the moment what I tried was inside CALC_CHAMP to calculate VARI_NOEU, which allowed me to see the values of the internal variables at each time increment in paraview.

Hello,

Internal state variables are named "VARI_ELGA" in code_aster (ELGA == at Gauss points) you always have it after aSTAT_NON_LINE.
You can print them with IMPR_RESU for several format:
- MED is for graphic output (for instance, in Asterstudy/Post-Process ou paravis in salome_meca)
- RESULTAT for text output
Tip: you have VARI_ELGA and VARi_ELGA_NOMME. The first one is V1, V2, V3, V4, ..., V7, not very convenient. The second one used more explicit names.
To know what are these variables, please look at thoery manuel ( R5.03.23 for IRRA3DM)

Hello and thank you very much AsterO'dactyle for taking the time to answer, my goal was to write a UMAT with this IRRAD3M law, and to validate I needed to see that the state variables are equal, in UMAT and in IRRAD3M, I had found the graphical way to do it, I didn't know the text mode to print this data, so again thank you.
