Accessible parameters

Hello,

I want to model a material with Mfront. I wish I could send geometry values in each cell, such as the mass centre in x, y, z coordinates

for example

mater = DEFI_MATERIAU(ELAS=_F(E=Young,
                              NU=NU),
                      MFRONT=_F(LISTE_COEF=(NU, Young, alpha, mu, K,Mas_centre_X)))

Can I invoke the mass center as a parameter from code aster?

Is there a way to do something similar?

We know that Code Aster sends values such as F, temperature, dt, ... what other values does it send by default? The coordinates of the nodes?

Hi,

I will try to improve the question...

We are trying to put a fibrated material in a muscle (see image).

In the example of this muscle, the yellow line represents the direction of the muscle fibers

For each cell, the fiber direction is slightly different. Now what we do is define groups in the muscle that have a different fiber director vector for each group.

Our goal is that this alignment be automatic or semi-automatic, based on a function of mass center of each tetrahedron or Id number to define the material properties. Therefore we assume that the ideal would be to assign different properties to each tetrahedron ...

Currently, we generate a large number of groups and materials to reproduce a fibrated material.

Any ideas on this problem?

I would reformulate G. Fortuny' question as follows:

If we have a way to pre-process the mesh to identify the orthotropic axes of individual elements, it there a way to use this information to declare the material ?

More precisely, if we create a field whose compoments holds the orthotropic axes, can we use it in the material definition.

Another (related question). If we can't, if we can define a field holding an identifier (the field holds floatting point values), can we pass it the the (MFront) behaviour as a material property ?

Hi,

Is it possible for code aster to call mesh elements (tetrahedra or hexahedrons) sequentially?
for example M1, M2, M3, ...., M1341, M1342, ...

Or does the calculation calling the elements in groups?
