I have set in "CALC_MODES > SOLVEUR_MODAL>METHODE>SORENSES" and the analysis go to results.
I don't understand how it is possibile.

thanks for the reply.
I can't reinstall the package beacuse i am using codeaster_for_windows. So i don't know how it is possible install that package in a builted version of codeaster.

i have run your .comm file and there is no error.
How much memory you have given to the analysis?
Can you attach the .mess file?

Hi to everyones,
i am performing a modal analysis that on 07/01/2022 going succefully to solution (and the results was the same obtained with Ansys).
Today, on 11/01/2022, after Windows update, i am obtaining this error:

   ! <S> Exception user raised but not interceptee.             !
   ! The bases are fermees.                                     !
   ! Type of the exception: error                               !
   !                                                            !
   !  error LAPACK (or BLAS) on the level of the routine DLASCL !
   !  the parameter number 4                                    !
   !  does not have a coherent value  4                         !

I don't know what it is. I am using codeaster for windows.
The strange thing is that if i impose Rigi_Meca both for M and K Matrix in calc_modes analysis the results go to solution.
Instead if i set Rigi_Meca as K Matrix and MAss_Meca as M Matrix, the solution give me this error.
I have also try to restore the pre-update version of windows but nothing changed.
I have perfomed a buckling analysis  obtaining the right solution. So i think that the problem is regarding only the Dynamique algorithm used in Calc_Modes.

Hi Mario,
it's works. But i don't understand how. The Convection Area is a group of element faces of the 3D model.
Also if i impose a termal load (with ddl_temp) to the convection zone, i obtain the results without any error.
Instead if i use echange BC also to another area (for example in the zone calls T1 or T2) that surface automatically is cut out from the model.
I think that there is something that i don't have understand in the echange BC.

i 'am trying to perform a static thermal analisys in a single 3D body (no assembly) with a T imposed in two differents areas and surface Echange Boundary Condition in another.
I am obtaining the following error:
   ! <EXCEPTION> <MODELISA6_96>                                           !
   !                                                                      !
   !  les 12478 mailles imprimées ci-dessus n'appartiennent pas au modèle !
   !  et pourtant elles ont été affectées dans le mot-clé facteur :       !
   ! ECHANGE                                                              !

" les 12478 mailles" refering to the Echange BC.

Removing the echange boundary the calculation go to result.

I don't understand where is the error. I know that it is in echange BC.

Hello everyone,
my name is Francesco and I am a freelance CAE engineer. I worked for year with commercial software (mainly MSC Apex and Nastran due to working in Aerospace Company) and I am passed to opensource software when opened my own activity. I use Code_Aster for the FEM calculation and openFoam for the CFD analysis.
