Hi cacciatorino ,
To clarify: the forum itself hasn't changed, it's the same platform as before. We only moved it to a new server, so the search behavior should be identical to what you had previously.
That said, we hear you on the search limitations. Good news: we are planning a migration to Discourse, which will improve exactly this. Discourse offers advanced search filters out of the box (by user, by topic/category, by date range, exact phrases, etc.), so narrowing results will be much easier.
The migration will also help us reduce the spam we've been seeing lately, thanks to Discourse's built-in anti-spam and moderation tools.
We'll share the timeline once it's confirmed. Thanks for your patience!
