A feedback on the 2015 Code_Aster and Salome-Meca User Day

A never ending success since 1992
On March 26th 2015, the 23rd edition of the annual Code_Aster and Salome-Meca users day brought together about 220 people half from EDF in-house users (engineering, production and R&D) and the other half from the open-source community of Code_Aster and Salome-Meca.
Presentations in pairs
This event was an opportunity to get a glimpse of the most iconic studies carried out during the past year at EDF.
As in 2014, the event highlighted the close links between R&D and engineering units, with most of the presentations this year done in pairs, like the one between R&D and UTO regarding the "analysis of the harmfulness of a default in the coating of the pressuriser expansion pipe of Blayais 3". These illustrated the features of Code_Aster and Salome-Meca serving the industrial challenges of EDF.
Presentations from previous years are available on the following page Présentation/Applications.
