Premier hackathon Code_Aster

Définition Wikipedia : Un hackathon est un événement où des développeurs se réunissent pour faire de la programmation informatique collaborative, sur un ou plusieurs jours. Le terme est un mot-valise constitué de hack et marathon.

Le premier hackathon Code_Aster a été organisé à l’initiative de Logilab dans ses locaux le 18 octobre 2012. 15 personnes y ont participé (Logilab, EDF, Arcelor-Mittal, Lafarge, LMGC, IngenieurBuro, LaMachine).

4 sujets ont été abordés :

• WG1 : removal of fortran compilation warnings
• WG2 : reflexion about how could be turned the finite elements of Code_Aster into a library of finite elements re-usable in other FE codes
• WG3 : implementing capabilities to be able to execute operations on fields, like Field3 = (Field1.UX - Field2.UX)²
• WG4 : compatibility issue with gcc4.7 & boundcheck
