Salome-Meca 2011.1 with LGPL licence is available for downloading

The new Salome-Meca 2011.1 version with LGPL licence is available for downloading.

For technical reasons, this version is only available for 64-bit. The previous version 2010.2 for 32-bit remains available for downloading.

This 2011.1 version integrates the following products:

  • STA 10.3 version of Code_Aster
  • 5.1.5 version of SALOME
  • 1.8.1 version of the study manager ASTK
  • 2.1 version of the command file editor EFICAS

Installation

  • Uncompress the file in the directory where you want to install Salome_Meca :

tar xzf SALOME-MECA-2011.1-LGPL-x82_64.tgz

  • Launch install :
cd SALOME-MECA-2011.1/postinstall
python postinstall.py
  • Launch Salome-Meca 2011.1:
cd SALOME-MECA-2011.1
./runSalomeMeca

What’s new ?

  • The new module Openturns which permits to perform uncertainty treatment and reliability analyses upon Code_Aster computations

  • A new quadrangle parameter for a better meshing of the transition between two surfaces, one made of triangles and the other with quadrangles.
  • Possibility to delete orphan nodes
  • New filter ’Coplanar faces’ for creating mesh groups
  • Possibility to define keyboard shortcuts by the preferences menu
  • New fonction for modifying the fonction de modification de la tolérance limite d’un objet GEOM permettant ainsi des opérations de partition sur cet objet
  • Some bugs fixed concerning the mesh conversion from linear to quadratic keeping the nodes on the geometry
